Director, Brian commenced his motor trimming apprenticeship in Blenheim, NZ in the early ’70s and migrated to Western Australia, Perth in ’76. The business was first established in Victoria Park, Mt Hawthorn and Leederville, focusing on motor trimming for private vehicles, this included trimming custom show-cars, panel-vans, hotrods, and custom-builds. Here they introduced the fitting and repairs of sunroofs and accessories.

In the ’90s an opportunity to diversify into the commercial trimming work led to Custom Cars moving to their custom-built factory in Fairford Street, Bassendean WA, which has its own engineering workshop containing comprehensive welding facilities and are able to design, build and install specific custom modifications.
